Far above the worldPlanet Earth is blue And there's nothing I can do David Bowie - "Space Oddity"
I think popularity is not important, and no it doesn't define us but some people nowadays think its really important to be awesome.
I think being popular is not important but now some people think its really important being popular.
no its not important it dose not define us
it does NOT define you the only thing it proves.................is nothing nobody is better than anyone
I don't hink popularity is important if you have good friends but in via's case her friends thought it was important and changed under pressure. Via has not changed as a person but i think her view on her friends have.
I agree with what you are saying because that is the way things should be. You shouldn't worry about what others think about you, it is how you see you.
No being popular is not important, it does not define us.
" I don't want them to come! If they come, they'll bring Auggie with them, I just don't feel like...". Via does change and a lot. she doesn't see Auggie as what other people saw him as but now she doesn't want people to know about him because of popularity.
I think her friends changed without her so she changed her friends to
it dose matter because it define who you are
she stopped hanging out with her first friends
Popularity doesn't define us. Via left her friends because they were acting like jerks because of popularity.
being popular is not important and it doesn't define us because its what kind of friends we have that is important. not how many friends or how popular they are.
she dont want to be popular because they going to talk bout aguiiie
popularity doesn't matter if you have good friends but its unhealthy to have no friend.
I don't think that being popular is important and I also don't think that being popular defines us but some people think that being popular is important and that it does define us.
I think being popular is not important being what you are is more important, because some people wants friends that behave good. Via may be didn't want to be friends with Miranda because Miranda wanted to be popular.
i don't think being popular is very important and does not define us
Via's doesnt talk to her friends anymore because they are not the friends that via knew they were before. Via didnt change
It is not who you hangout with that defines you it is who you are,we will all always be defined by what we look like or who we hangout with but that isn't right people should look on the inside and see who we TRULY are.
I do not think being popular defines us because we are all different people and we should not be judged or looked at if we are "popular" or not
I do not think being popular is important. it is just a word people diatribe you as based on your friends and how you act.
Via's friends want to be popular so they do outrageous to be in style and are pretty rude to via just to gain popularity. Via actually does change her feelings to Auggie. At first she thought of him as a kid that was awesome and sweet and she was very nice to him now she wants him to grow up and she keeps saying he isn't normal.
I think being popular does not define us because, we are all the same no one should be treated differently no matter what.
I think being popular is not important. It does not define who you are.
i don't think being popular is important because why does people need to be popular its just stupid and immature.
Some of her freindships change when her freinds see auggie because he looks weird. She has a lot of freinds but only a few that she actually really hangs out with.
She starts to realize who she is becoming and how her friends are being. It shows Via how her friends really are
I think she was grannys favorite because she would spend the most time with her and Auggie would always be in surgerys
popularity is a good thing but a bad thing
The need for popularity caused her two best friends and her to drift apart and become more distant and less friendly. Meanwhile it seems to change Via; but in a more positiver way because she is drifting away from her old friends she ends up becoming good friends with a less popular smart girl. Being popular isn`t the nearly most important thing in the world; and it dozen`t define you as a person. It`s just one of many things that describe you. For some people it`s just more important than for others.
I think being popular is that important because you need to know how you actually are
I don't think it is very important you'll have friends either way. :)
I dont think it is important at all. Via has frined anyway
no being popular is not important because then people well talk about you behind your back but people do that any way so why be popular when you won't get any special treatment when you are popular to everyone you look the same no matter what
davids right she dont need friends
Via's not friends with her friends she once knew because they changed
i wish it could not difine us
jhjh hj hj
i wish that not being popular was not important
Her friendships change because your friends want to be petty and popular. She just wants to be normal. So, she get separated from them to be with the smart kids at lunch.
I think it is not important because it is just a lable
All of her freinds Change by looks and Via thought they change completely
I do not believe popularity is very important. Popularity is only about being known by others, you can have many friends but most aren't true. Some of the best off people are not popular in the least bit but are the happiest. Their friends are meaningful. Popularity can be good and bad but it is not necessary.
i agree with Jonas
being popular is not important because it doesn't define us
In Via's case, Miranda, it is important to her. But it actually isnt. Although her best friend did she didnt and it did not change her personality. It doesnt define us.
Via's friendships changed because all of her friends sort-of drifted away from her. She changed to be popular because of peer pressure and that is what she thought she wanted to do.
